Title: WCOAP - Day 4 (Team / RoE / High Roller)

Hi everyone and welcome back aboard the good ship WCOAP.

We have three events in play today - the Team Championship starts at midday, Mixed (Round of Each) starts at 1pm and the High Roller starts at 5pm - late entry for ROE and HR has been extended to 2 hours for both.

Join Lucy, Tom, Leigh and myself for live updates and streaming throughout the day.

The draw for the first phase of the Team event involves 18 heads up matches.  The winner of each heads up match will win 4 points for his country.

Away on time in the Team Championship, following a short presentation cermony, where Frank Bailie - on behalf of the players, presented the APAT management with an individual silver awards to commemorate APAT's 10th anniversary.  A very nice gesture that was appreciated by Tom, Matt, Lucy, Leigh and myself.

The Heads Up results are starting to flow in.

Marco Wouters of Holland has beaten Jonathan Ross of Wales in match 3.

Norbert Bobra of Poland has taken the points of James Ellis of defending champions Scotland.

In match 15, Philip Henze of Germany has just beaten Irish captain Frank Bailie.

Dorina Cioca (Italy) takes the points against Ireland's Kevin O'Hanlon.

Antes Only Bracelet winner Alexander Bochmann (Ger) beats Rieuwert Fleer (Hol).

Italy take 4 more points as Gabriel Iemmito beats England's Joe Carr-Hill.

Big couple of results for Belgium with wins for Tom Slikboer and Trifon Pappas, over Poland's Seb Mikolacjczyk and Ireland's Ian Thompson, respectively.

One match remains in phase 1.  Shirley Cole (Eng) is still playing Brian Frew (Ire).

Exciting finish to the England Ireland match with Shirley Cole taking the honours over Brian Frew. 

Tough opening phase for the Irish with four defeats, Matt Carter and team will be feeling a lot better with two wins under their belt.

Jon Rees of Wales pushes all in over the top of Holland's Andreas Kappert.

"How much did you have left?" asked Kappert.

"Four thousand, six million and twenty five" responded Rees.

The table cracks up.

Banter is rarely in short supply in this particular event.

As a postscript, the Dutchman tanked for a minute before folding, showing an Ace.  Rees turned over Ace King...

Joshua Jones and Stefan Fisher take the walk, whilst Luc Papin gets his 73k stack in with Ac 6d only to be dominated by Andrew Hepburn holding A s 10s, and with a Flop 10h 8s Jc it looks all over until a Turn 6h gives hope, and River 6c brings it... Luc doubles up...
