The APAT 888poker European Amateur Poker Championship will take place at the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton on Saturday & Sunday, January 21 &22, with play starting at 2.30pm on both days.
In addition to winning the Championship Trophy, Medal and prize money, the winner will also receive an 888poker SuperStack entry to the leg at Star City, Birmingham in late February.
The event is open to amateur players and will feature a £75; registration free, buy in.
Players will start with 10,000 chips on a 45 minute clock.

Qualifying satellites and direct buy in will be available via 888poker as follows:
Dec 12 – Satellite to European Amateur Poker Championship – $10 + $1 – 8pm
Dec 13 – Satellite to European Amateur Poker Championshp – $20 + $2 – 8pm
Dec 14 – Direct buy in via 888poker.com – $120
