I'd be happy to sacrifice sleep in return for the better structure - I just don't think it's really necessary to start it so late, especially with late reg option.

I think you should all stop moaning and thank Des for setting up a great tournament.

If it doesn't suit you to play at 8pm then why should this be changed just to suit you? Rules are rules and it needs to be clear for everyone and consistent.

You are all just being negative and should accept what Des has decided.

^^^^^^^
It's a joke ffs.
I don't think any one was moaning. I thought that a forum was place to discuss things. To mention concerns etc.
Last season there were 2 leagues and they started with about 100 plus players and as the season went on the numbers did drop.
Now there is only 1 league and with each game having the  potential number of runners at 160- 200 +.
If people cant play because they have to get up for work, this could affect the number of runners. Surely that is a concern that APAT must look at.

Mahound this post by me was a joke based on another thread.

Of course the forum is the place to discuss things, mention concerns etc. which I did on the other thread.

yes - APAT must look at it and they have.

7pm with a 1 hour late reg is confirmed.

Especially for the new Team European Region the starting time is important. Players cant play til 1-2 a.m. If they have to work next morning. 5K and 15min level with a huge number of player could be a problem. (timezone)

That is a very good point Achim.  This will just need monitoring by Des and the team.

Every couple of weeks the 7pm start even with the late reg is no good for me but I will just have to cope with it...
Unless if I give prior notice and the late reg could be extended to two hours just for me..
Just a thought... I know you want to keep everybody happy..
