I would like to thank Apat for the chance to represent Ireland as team captain in the 2012 ECOAP international team championship at DTD Nottingham. What an honour it is to be in this position.Frank Bailie captain of Ireland, wow sounds good to me.Ofcourse this is not about me this is a team event. So I have a very difficult job to pick the best possible team to represent Ireland at DTD in August.
I would like to invite all Irish players who want to be considered to play for Ireland with the true Irish spirit which we know we all have and will fight to the last and never give up.That is what I want in a player and the team.So come on guys PM me no later that 11th June 2012.I will announce the team the following Monday 18th June 2012 after the final league game.
Please let me know if there are any Irish players that are going well in the league. I don't know every player so just Pm me if you are in with a shout for league points.I want to be sure not to leave anyone out for the final team place.
Again thanks APAT and the very best of luck to everyone who applies.

Frank.

Come on the boys in GREEN. You will never beat the Irish.

The Republic of Ireland Team to play The Apat ECOAP Team Championship @ DTD is,

Frank Bailie

Ger Smyth

John Murray

Dave Pilkington

Brendan Byrne

Thanks to everyone who put their name forward for selection. It was a very tough team to pick but I know I selected a winning team who will compete to the end against the very best Apat players from Europe and the UK.
So I would like to say the best of luck (an chuid is fearr de luck) to the other teams and may the best team win.
