It seems very quiet regarding this, do you know how many runners are expected and if there will be a player briefing?

Briefing will be up this evening JP. The Macau are expecting around 100 players having allocated 40 seats already, plus c. 20 who will travel from the UK.

Is the Macau waiving the €20 membership fee as they did last year?

While everyone entering the club is required to register as a Member, Membership costs €20 and you recieve €10 free bet. Registration is very straight forward and only takes two or three minutes during your first visit.
You are required to provide picture ID ( Drivers licence, Passport, etc.) for registration purposes, however, if you do not have picture ID available for your initial registration, the management reserve the right to grant temporary membership until picture ID is provided
