Charles McCarthy raises all in on the turn, with the board showing K Q 7 9
Instant call from Abens Maurice, tabling J 10 for the nuts.
McCarthy tables K J.
The river changes nothing and Maurice doubles to around 280k, while McCarthy is left short.

Big pot between Maurice and Abbou. On a flop of Maurice raises to 25k. Abbou reraises to 77k. Called Check, check Abbou bets 38k and Maurice reraises to 85k "Damn that 7" says Abbou with a smile, releasing his hand. Maurice shows the for the pot.

The final is being played in great humour and I don't think I've ever seen as many flops.
Three of the lads are Irish, while Abbou is French and Maurice is American.

It's incredible how the momentum has swung in this final. Early on it was John Quinn who had over half a million chips and he seemed in control of the final. Then Benjamin Abbou doubled up a couple of times and carried that momentum on to take around half the chips in play. Now it's Abens Maurice who is the big chipleader. Maurice doubled up late last night and then had to leave to go to work, anteing around 20k in chips in the process. He came in on average at the start of today's play, but right now he looks like the man to beat.

John Quinn shoves a short stack in the SB and Abens Maurice calls.
"Sh*t" says Quinn, caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
Maurice tables Ace Eight of diamonds
Quinn sheepishly turns over Two Three of diamonds, his tournament life at stake.
Oops.
Flop King Seven Jack.
Turn 10
"Give us a Two" shouts Quinn.
River Two.
Oooooooooh go the crowd, as Quinn roars and doubles up.
Maurice smiles and passes some chips. He can afford it.

Buckley doubles to 120k. Abbou called his shove with A 7 and Buckley showed pocket Nines.
The board didn't help the French man.
