I don't know how many APATers have started to play on the new site but the opportunity for making some money for our better players is there..
I set my filter to finished and I have seen sats for 7.5k and 50kHH contested by around 5-20 players.
Even our own APAT tourney sats are only attracting 2-7 players.
I know that most people dream of winning the big pots on Poker Stars but there is money to be made on the new site. Not by me obviously but stranger things happen.
This is an obvious "brag post" that I have just qualified for DTD from a heads-up match.

Massive congratulations on spotting the uber-value tonight Smiley

With just 2 runners totalling €40 of buyins, and a €132 seat up for grabs, there was a €92 overlay (ouch).

We've kept the guaranteed seats for each of the remaining 4 satellites: tomorrow's €5 rebuy, and next week's €20 freezeouts (Mon, Tue), and €5 rebuy (Weds).

You'll be regged in the holding tank on Thursday afternoon along with the winner of tomorrow's rebuy satellite.

Is there still sats running for Apat DTD?

I think the reason why there has not been so many playing them is because in the past there has only been 1 week (3 days) of sats for any event so this is a bit different and perhaps not many know about it? I would say the majority of players just buy in direct but there is a about 20/30 players who usually give it a bash.

You have to realistically set a maximum amount of money you are willing to invest in the sats before you have to say quit and buy in or chase the lost money and hope to get a seat.

I dont think Apat has enough sat players to justify having so many games and IMO they will lose money giving guaranteed  seats as they did tonight....just my opinion tho Wink

The site needs to attract players, and in giving good value sats it should do that. At the moment you can wait a long time to play just 1 sng as the people on here at the moment appear to mainly be cash or tourney players.
I'm not a marketing or promotional type person but I am sure if you are prepared to lose a bit by giving value sats then people may well start playing the sng's but at the moment it is moving slowly on that side.
I suppose once the Online Cup gets going and I presume the Online League will be on the same site hopefully things will start to pick up.
