Quite close now.  The holiday season has slowed things down somewhat, but later this week or early next is the target.

I hope to be able to make the announcement mid to late next week, but that is dependant on one or two small items.  Our calendar above highlights the August bank holiday weekend as the likely date of our next event.  Prior to confirmation, that would be the most likely date to plan around.

Hmm. Bank Holiday weekend, does this mean there"s a chance of two day ones, finishing on the Monday?

Bank holiday weekend is so many things.....

Matthew Street Festival, my anniversary, Reading Festival, poss APAT European doodaa....

Going to have to get my priorities in order.... Thats is married speak for sucking up to the wife and making sure its okay with her....

If it is 2 day ones... Will people have a choice of day 1?? Or would this be an impossible task..Also that would be hard on the people who have to spend out for 3 nights accomodation, as opposed to the 2...Hmmmm....,.,.. Tricky..,.,.

The $64,000 question.

Which will come first:

 1. The announcement of the dates and venue for the next APAT event?
 2. Des buying a round of drinks at the bar?
 3. Me not being outdrawn on the bubble?

The bookies have it as pretty even money at the moment.

Well so far you"ve done Ireland Wales Scotland Newcastle and Birmingham, so surely this one will be be further south. You know the rendezvous in Brighton is nice, but London would do fine  ;) looking forward to meeting you all and playing some good poker, if i can get a seat and if the events not too far away!

Number 2 obviously. Oh, wait a minute, I"ve misread your post Dan, thought it said "Des burying a round of drinks at the bar", apologies.
