Travel Guru & APAT Hall of Famer

« Reply #4606 on: March 03, 2012, 07:23:26 pm »

To be honest...I'm 100% certain I will make them all...in my head.

The only issue for me is spreading the cost to fit the pocket without dipping into the Vegas money I've already put aside.

Cardiff hotel will be booked just after Coventry.

Went down to watch Ger in his first live performance last night. Just before the set started he was bricking it and was as nervous as hell. When they started into their first song the showman came out. The band were really good and Ger was confident and belted out the 9 song set with energetic gusto and real talent, must be from his mother's side  Grin . They enjoyed themselves up there and got a great reception from the large crowd.

Priceless, Proud Parent

Tonight I am off out for a meal and a concert with my sister, just for a change on this musical weekend we are going to see the ageless Elkie Brooks.

I have a splitting headache and hope that passes soon.

If you are worried about the end of the world this year then ponder on the variances of calendar creation and amendment.

Julius Caesar created the leap year, I believe, in 45BC. If he had not, then today would be July 28th 2013. Bearing in mind that the Mayan soothsayers and calendar makers did not account for the leap year, then technically the world ended 7 months ago.

I missed it then ……..

It’s been a slow day.

I know it's Thursday, but I have had a week in Warrington and need to blow off steam, so it's the rebuy in the aquarium tonight. Did I mention I love rebuys...

Landed in Jaxie Towers yesterday pre dog and managed to avoid the dog toys, dog bins, dog bowls, dog cage, dog bed etc. Had a lovely day drinking beer, watching rugby, drinking beer, playing some poker and drinking some more beer.

Demolished a stonking breakfast and am now settling down for some beers, rugby, more beers, roast dinner, rugby and more beers.

Good friends, great times, priceless

Heading home later today after a lovely weekend relaxing in excellent company. Will be settling down later for the APAT league (203 runners last count) and trying to cause a bit of carnage. I look forward to these leagues as they are a mix of fun and seriousness.
