The league game was awesome (although the NW bubbled the points) I just need to dodge AA next time, I ran into them twice.

Beware NW players spammer alert - will be reminding people of the Sunday game later tonight and tomorrow and Thursday etc etc etc .......  Grin

Back in Deeside all this week and it has brought home to me how much I miss our ‘canteen’. Today was Venison and black pudding (don’t knock it, it worked) with roasted vegetables and new potatoes. Off to Enfield next week so the culinary delights will be slightly diluted in the depot.

Not a horse betting man, but the frenzy that is Cheltenham has gripped the nation. Laughing at some of the FB & Twitter posts that are mostly ‘Feck it what a donkey’. Might sharpen the pin and try a couple myself tomorrow.

Was a wee bit late to join the rebuy tonight on WH. So I decided to play a couple of SNG's - I played 3 $5 30 players thingys.

Game 1 - KK << AA
Game 2 - 10 10 << AA
Game 3 - QQ << AA

Remember that in the league game I ran into them twice in the same game with high pairs (OK to me a 10 is high)

Tomorrow night I am off to see The Furey Brothers and Davey Arthur in concert. Now I remember these when they were starting out in the 70’s so they must be in their 60’s at least. I remember well that Finbar Furey had a wind instrument made out of the tubular leg of a chair, but their music was brilliant. Sadly I believe that Finbar no longer plays with them , we shall see if the gloss has worn off a bit.

An example of the music, nice relaxing evening ahead, not every ones taste but whatever…..

Back from the little soiree with the Furey brothers, if I closed my eyes it could have been 40 years ago the music has not changed (nor have the jokes in between songs  Grin ).

Today is Friday so it's the aquarium for me I think (for a change) so that's tonight beer intake taken care of.

Tomorrow is a rugby day with all teams taking part and it is Patrick's Day, so that's Saturday's beer intake taken care of.

Sunday will be recovery day - so in the interest of that age old remedy for a hangover, that's Sunday's beer intake taken care of as well.

Priceless....

Happy weekend everyone.....

Oh and the aquarium....

Went aggressive and loved it - cracked AA with 54 - hit a flush against Charlie with - then the sword of damaclese hit me when I shove 5 handed with K Q and ran into A K -- I loved it it was a great night

I expected more from Scotland today, a very poor game with a win for the team that most wanted it.

Raining in Cardiff, why have a roof and not use it - The French have insisted that the roof remain open, that baffles me......

OK settling down for the next match. Beer tasting a wee bit too good (maybe that's expectation for the main event). Fancy Wales to do this and I feel this game will be won at the front 5 and with fast, clean ball the Welsh backs should cause havoc.....

Shocking, just shocking, Ireland were steamrolled, outplayed and were really not at the races at all.

WP England

WD Wales

Now to dull the disappointment...
