It"s a Fold

His shoving range you can put him on with your limited hands played :
More than 50% chance you are flipping.
A small chance you are in front against AQ AJs maybe (just a guess really)
And the two preflop hands he could have that have you crushed.

Even if you were last to act you can fold knowing you have an edge to wait for a better spot against this type of player.

Was it preflop he was all in twice with his pockets?

My assumption is that you are not deep into the tourney and there are plenty of runners. If it was at the later stages I would have a different answer

One was pre and fairly standard when he opened, then 4bet, and showed when everyone folded - KK.   The other was a cbet jam with overpair to a flop, and again showed when everyone folded.

As it happens, I folded (and thought it was a fairly trivial fold at the time).... but then got to thinking afterward. I was struggling somewhat, having had premiums early on and having to fold on scary flops; and seeing an awful lot of 3 and 4 betting around the table from the very first hand, meaning it was tough to get involved without premium hands.  Of course AKs is a fold in this spot, however with chips proving tough to come by, I started to wonder if taking the gamble might not have been such a bad idea after all..... hence the question.

I"m not saying i"d call and it"s probably a high variance play but ... would he Jam Aces and Kings ...if it"s doubtful then we prob flip with most holdings but actually crush quite a few he may have done with this.

Is calling here really that "bad"?

I sigh fold, the open jam for 50+ bb"s is pretty awful no matter what villains holding.
