It takes less than 3 minutes to lose our first player!

Short stack, Declan O"Connol moves all in with 7d 8d and is called by Thomas Kammarinke with Ad 9s

Pretty flat board of Jc Qd 2h 4s 9d and Declan is out.

Another bust not two minutes later!

Cedric Berden goes all in with pockets 10"s and is looked up by Danny Opthof holding Ad Ks

The ace on the river sends Cedric to the rail.

Down to 36, 5 more won"t get paid...

Dropping quickly in this first level of day 2.

Sandy Drennan commits all of his chips pre flop wth 9d 9s

Paul Prunity has Ac Kh and makes the call for most of his stack.

Safe flop for Sandy Js 8c 8s

Nice 2h on the turn and he is set for the double up...

But, as so often seems to happen, the Kd on the river sends Sandy home, 4 before the payout.

Sandy DRENNAN

Christopher HOLZEL

Christopher HOLZEL gets his short stack in holding Ad Jc and is called by Raf JANS pocket 5s 5d, and with a 5h on Flop and Jh, Christopher doesn"t improve further and he departs in 35th spot.

Raf increases his stack to circa 1.4m

Big hand!

Filippo Puzzo moves his last 86k across the line in early position.

David Meighan makes the call and, after some debate, Michael Sheriff (our chip leader at the start of the day) also makes the call.

Three handed to the flop, live betting still between David and Michael.

They both check to the river 3h 6h 8s Kc 10h

David checks and Michael leads out for 75k

David takes his time and decides to make the call.

David has Qc Qh
Filippo shows 8d 8h
Michael scoops the lot holding kh kd

Filippo is sent to the rail and David takes a big hit.

Michael now in a very favourable position but still 33 players left fighting it out...

Wim Van Dijk makes the move from very early position but with only around 25k

Thomas Kammerlinke makes the call from a decent stack.

Wim has Qc 9c
Thomas has Ad 8s

9h first card out! Can he avoid the Ace for the double?

Kd 3s 2s Jc

Wim doubles up - he and Thomas celebrate together

Ryan McGrath raises all in for around 150k on a turn of Jc 7d Qc Kd

Edward Kelly had bet 75k into a pot of around 190k and now sits to make his decision...

He makes the call and Ryan shows Jh Jd
Edward has 9s 10s and is ahead and has Ryan covered.

Ryan needs the board to pair...2h on the river is no good and he is out in 33rd place.

In the madness of players busting and breaking tables the bubble has burst!!

Unfortunately, no details but Daan Hammer is Irish Amateur Poker Championship 2016 bubble boy.

Congratulations to the 31 remaining players

Timmy Passenier moves all in for 60k and is called by Emmet Davies.

Timmy"s 7h 7s needing to avoid being swamped by Emmet"s Qh Jd

Ad 5s Kh flop and more outs for Emmet but Timmy still ahead...

Jh and Emmet takes the lead

3h river and Timmy finishes in 31st place for €235.

Andy Hall raises to 21k and is re raised all in by Kevin Duffy

Andy makes the call with the smaller stack.

Kevin has Ac Ks
Andy Kh Kc

8h Jc A s sees Andy go behind and need the case king to remain at the table

7h turn, no good - Andy calls for the flush draw... :)

8c river and Andy finishes in 30th for €235.

Hendrik Blokdijk and Danny Opthof get all their chips in the middle and see a board of 7c Kd 9c Ks Qs

The exciting conclusion?

Hendrick and Danny both have an ace and low kicker...they split the pot!
