IPO side bar:

Day 3 of the IPO has just gotten underway alongside the APAT day 2.

Dane Tallen, second in chips at the start of today"s play, placed in a World Championship of Amateur Poker Event in 2013.

Lewis Mason is a regular LPPL player and he starts day 3 with a decent stack.

As does Belgium APAT face Joachim Walleart.

Several of our well known faces and names had a good run this year, including cashes so far for Rob Davies, Ady Rushton, Jonny Nixon, Hedley Goddard and Ben Murray.

Good luck to all the remaining players but, especially our own.

Raf Jans raises to 25k from early position.

Hendrik Blokdijk makes the call in mid position.

After a few cosidered folds, Erwin Boots, in the big blind, moves all in.

He is quickly re raised all in by Raf and Hendrik also makes a quick call.

Raf has A s Kd and has both players covered.
Hendrik has Qd Qs and is at risk to Raf but has Erwin covered.
Erwin has 10h 10d and is behind and at risk.

Kh 2h 3h flop changes everything! Raf takes the lead as he pairs his king. Erwin picks up the only flush draw and Hendrik is sudddenly a massive favourite to be hitting the rail!

2d on the turn changes nothing (does it ever?? Ask Ben B)

Erwin calls for his hear "one time"

9h river! Erwin triples up.

Raf makes a little back off Hendrik before the rest goes to Erwin.

Hendrick is out in 26th place for €265.

Jason KEMP pushes all in pre-flop for 123k with 9d 9c, facing Emmett Davies holding Ac Jd.

Jason survives a flop 6d 2d 2s and Turn Ks and River Kh taking it down with a higher 2 pair and doubles up to circa 250k.

The reigning Champion, Robert Blaauwgeers makes it 75k pre flop and is called by Michael Sheriff

Flop 6s Jc 7c and it"s checked to the Turn

Turn 8s and it"s checked to the River

River 9h and Michael checks again, Robert tanks and then bets 71k...

Michael takes a while and eventually makes the call....

Robert shows A s 10s and Michael mucks...

Reigning APAT Amateur Poker Champion Robert Blaauwgeers

Elie Payan raises to 22k in early position and is re raised to 62k by Raf Jans.

It folds to Elie, who considers it for a moment and moves all in over the top.
Raf makes the call.

Raf has Ad Kd and is at risk to Elie who has Kc Kh

7h 10h 4s 6h 3s

Raf doesn"t improve and finishes in 21st place. He collects €295.

Busy, busy hand involving Simon Pham (and his rail!) Michael Sheriff (enjoying a very good run today) and Francis Vandendriessche.

Simon moves all in and is re raised by Francis and Michael snap calls them both.

Simon has 4c 4d and is at risk to both players.
Francis has A s Kh and is at risk to Michael but has Simon covered.
Michael has A c Ad and has them both comfortably covered.

10c 10d 7h 9c 2d

Nothing for anyone and Michael takes that huge pot and ends two players tournaments!!

Francis started the hand with slightly less chips and finishes in 20th place.
Simon finishes in 19th.
Both take home €325.
