May 11, 2017, London:  The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) is delighted to announce details of the eleventh season of its critically acclaimed tour for recreational players.  Following on from it's tenth anniversary season, which saw every APAT Champion win an added value Las Vegas package, Season 11 will open with the North American Amateur Poker Championship in Las Vegas on June 7th 2017 and run to the APAT World Championship Of Amateur Poker (WCOAP) in Manchester, from March 31st to April 8th 2018.

Season highlights include:-

Headline partner:   APAT is pleased to announce the continuation of their relationship with the UK's largest casino chain, Grosvenor Casinos, as its headline sponsor in Season 11.  The partnership will see each APAT main event Champion win an added seat at a GUKPT main event, worth £550.  The partnership continues to flourish on the back of 10 years of close cooperation and highlights a continuing commitment to the development of players at every level.

Media partner:   APAT is pleased to partner with Bluff Europe, Europe's largest poker magazine, which will feature regular content on APAT's live tour throughout Season 11.

Viva Las Vegas:  APAT is hosting the first event of Season 11 in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Downtown Fremont Street, on Wednesday 7th June 2017, featuring a $150 buyin and a $20,000 guarantee.

Online:  Grosvenor Poker will host APAT's online Championship events and the winner of each will receive an added seat at a GUKPT main event worth £550.

WCOAP:  The extremely popular World Championship Of Amateur Poker will be hosted at Grosvenor Casino, Manchester, between March 31st and April 8th, 2018.  The festival will feature the prestigious 8-Game Players Championship, World Amateur Team Championship and World Amateur Poker Championship main event.

Champion Of Champions:   A special event hosted during the WCOAP in Manchester, with every live APAT National Champion and WCOAP Main & Side event winners from eleven APAT seasons eligible to compete to be crowned the APAT Champion Of Champions, with the added value of a Las Vegas 2018 Package.

Live Stream/Blog:  APAT will broadcast live from all National Amateur Championship events in Season 11, in addition to providing comprehensive live updates through the APAT forum.
