I just love that photo of me winning the main event in Nottingham. Its even better than the one of the Leeds team at the GUKPT but my favorite is the one of Scotland winning the Euro champs.

Link now removed.  Would be good if it is not published on here until the site has been completely integrated.  In the meantime, the forum and the existing main site are going to look a bit odd...

I can just about live with this green....just.

I am struggling to cope with the fact that the font colour for previous/next threads and the page numbers of threads are nearly impossible to see. i.e when you click ona thread, you can easily not be aware that there is another page to the thread?

Should be white not black.

I do like the layout for posts though

An improvement but a little bit more work needed IMO

Des, I'll have a look over it when I get a chance and send you some suggestions.

LOL...loving the comments, particularly crizzy's pic.  Great stuff.

Don't worry, we can adjust the brightness of the background and all of the smaller problems will be ironed out.  The navigation will be sorted out also.  Naturally, the main site will be changing also and this whole process will take a little while but will give us a number of advantages going forward.

Nothing at all to do with commerating yesterday's grand slam...
[Don't believe you Des Wink

and by the way WELL DONE IRELAND great game!!

Maybe if the page numbers were in "bold" they would be easier to read. Otherwise it's nice and clean and .... irish (grand slam) green

Compare and contrast the use of white (previous and next) and black (Pages 1,2,3) for links on the green background.  White is much clearer.

For accessibility and usability reasons, links should ideally be the same colour across the site - or at least the same colour in posts, in menus, and in utility links like these.

just noted that the "next" button is not always white and can sometimes not always be seen very clearly.

(I'm afraid its down to just an A now)

+1 des, it is slightly inconsistent and the black page numbers make it impossible to see, particularly late at night with the brightness down a bit (so as not to wake the missus up :-) )
the green is also a little bright...

A slight aside, but may be worth noting that the forum does not currently render quite correctly when using IE8 native mode (which has just been released and will no doubt start being pushed via Automatic Updates soon). Switching into IE7 compatibility mode fixes things so not a big issue but just one to note.

Our designer should be back on the case this evening to make some further alterations to increase consistency with the new main site.  Page numbers included.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
