Sorry I've not been playing for the last month and a half (or thereabouts) - been weighed down with work and Uni, not really been spending time on poker at all other than the odd live game, not even logged onto APAT in 6 weeks until now. Wont be playing this weekends game as I'm away to Rome on Saturday until Tuesday night but will be in the games after that. Good luck to anyone playing this weekend...  Smiley

Last night was my first in the Poker League and I must say it was bit of an ordeal. Only 46 runners ,(poor turn out by my teammates) and although I exited in 16th place, it took 3hrs to get there !!. Talk about keeping the cards close to the chest !!. I never seen the end result, but I would hazard a guess that it ran for at least 4 - 5 hrs. Is this the norm ? What happens if there is 80 runners ? , is it a 2 day event ?.

Is it possible that the time it takes to complete, relative to the runners, is a factor in poor turnouts ?

does anyone else have a view on this ?

The trouble with having an open mind, is that, someone will come along and insist on putting something in it
