Due to staffing difficulties at Dusk Till Dawn, APAT will not hold their first Regional event there until the fourth leg in April 2008.  Press the "Tour" button above and click the link to the Regional Schedule (or National Schedule for all other live events).

ive read articles in poker player and it looks like a good tournament..

or do i have to qualify online for these events?cos cant make the events all time so gonna miss out?

I"m not sure if you mean to come across quite so blase but believe me you cannot just turn up to a National event like a £20 saturday afternoon rebuy!  Have a read through some of the forum posts and you will see a little about the prestige and value these tournaments are held in by the members.  I have only played in one myself but plan to dedicate myself a little more in Season 2 (starting in Walsall, roll on next Saturday  ;)  You can qualify online or through the regionals and failing that there is the "clickfest" but this is basically 500 people typing details in a computer as fast as they can to get about 100 seats.  As I said, have a look through the various posts and you will get a much better idea.

If I wanted to play in the £20 Southern Championship game in Luton would I need to pay a membership fee to APAT, I registered via the "click advert for free membership icon" on this website. Does this mean I can now play the tournament???

Well these tournaments seem to be so popular why can`t they get bigger venues,or maybe do a 2 day or 3 day event so everybody gets the chance to play not all people live and breath poker and spend their whole lives turning up night after night and traveling to regionals game after game.some people have lives and families but would also like to take part in a bigger game like the £75 buy ins so why can"t they accommidate for everybody.not a who can type the fastest etc or who sleeps all day and just plays poker all night..

i love poker alot but i also have a life outside of poker

This is something that we could go into great detail about, but I will try not to.

We have the biggest casino"s on offer to us. 200 in a casino is a big tournament. Although there is Dusk till Dawn, it cannot be used for every event. We have the best and biggest casino"s on offer in the UK in the Grosvenor G Casino"s (who are the main sponsor).

We have had competitions where we have had 2 day 1"s, this allowed more in but we are limited. These are only practical on a bank holiday weekend, and some of these are a no go. I am sure Des and the team try to get as much as poosible out of the casino by trying their best to get as many of us in as they can.
