2000 Guineas 5/5/2012

Talwar - ew

he has cost £40,000 to supplement, will get the ground and judging by his Lingfield lto run he has really come on physically from 2 to 3... the market is pretty much well priced up and Talwar has been underestimated imho, so if u fancy a punt then get a big as a price as u can...

ps - i'm not expecting a Frankel in this race this year Smiley

Flamingo Fantasy, close finish but no chance to win the 41. Oleander-Race.

Hope you hit something withyour bet around Homecoming Queen. Great pick, also a clever move to run in front. Totally disappointment about both Godolphin runners.

tyvm sir,

the ground played its part Achim, i probably put more work into assessing the 1000 Guineas than the 2000 tbh, Lyric was my ante post pick and HQ was the pick after all the rain... A big price and a healthy profit for the weekend Smiley

very sad seeing Gray Pearl in such a pickle, i feel for owner Raymond Mould, he has invested a lot of money in racing over the years, he has supported both codes flat and jumps, even managing to win the Grand National with Bindaree... Ransom Note has been his best flat performer up to now, hopefully he'll find one real hotpot in the not to distant future...

the Chester May festival starts Wednesday, with all this rain i anticipate the odd shock may happen Smiley  u gotta love your punting in this sort of weather Wink

hopefully Achim we'll pick out the odd winner this season...

regards
noble

Todays winner Novallist is now bookmakers favourite 6/1 for german derby.

My best pick was at the Kentucky Oaks 2006. Switched on the livestream and saw the parade of the Oaks and saw this filly. First thought WOW. What's the name of this filly? A field of 16 runners and she was the longshot 62/1. Against all odds I'd bet her WPS and in a exacta and she won the Oaks for 47/1. Her name was Lemons Forever !
