I'm just doing the administration, I sorted it in one order when I created it (because I thought it 'should' be that way)
and in this order after I updated it with the last results (because I think that's how it's worded)

Conceptually it makes sense that if the winner of this already has a seat then the Champions Final gets one less runner
but it makes it more interesting if, in that circumstance, the seat would go down to the next person who hasn't already got one.

i.e. it needs clarifying
Also, just in case,  I would have thought there should be a tie breaker on the off chance both of those columns are even.

To confirm it's to reward the most consistent points scorer in Championship events.  Unfortunately the place would not go to the next best finisher should Brian take it, having already qualified for the Champions Final.
