I'd just like to say how much I enjoyed playing in the final.

I think in the end the poker gods were reasonably even in the dealing out of the suck outs - but I was certainly saved by a 3 outer when running low on chips.

All the finalists were very friendly and congratulations to the organisers for making everything run smoothly - in particular offering the blind change - I have played in many tournaments where they have not been so considerate of the players.

I did try to steal Micky's blinds all day so he certainly had his revenge - he outplayed me heads up.

Hope to see you in Vegas - if not in another APAT event before then.

cheers

I would agree with Charles, it was a great final, played in the best APAT spirit with the best player on the day winning-well done Mickey! My thanks also to Des, Tikay & the team from the Vic who ran everything impeccably. I believe this OnLive concept got off to a great start and i wonder where it will lead-ask Des!?
Had a wonderful night out with Mickey, Jack & Geoff even managing a nice win on the cash tables too!
So the drama continues, when will it end, for the next installment..........over to you Des-again!?

Thanks for all your support and good wishes fellas both on here and the text & voice messages. My phone kept saying 'connection error' when I tried to reply otherwise I would have thanked you all sooner.

An absolutely fantastic day, any slight big-match nerves melted away with the excellent table company. Very happy with my play generally and the mask only slipped a couple of times to reveal the inner fish!

Commiserations to Kevin on not securing the PCA seat - yet, good luck to him and Mark in the heads-up.

But most of all good luck to Michael Patterson in the WSOP 2008 main event!

Oh Mickey you play so fine, you play so fine you blow my mind - HEY MICKEY! HEY MICKEY!

Well miracle's do happen.Thank's to every one for all the good wishes and support. The atmosphere at the final table was superb and played in a great spirit.Charlie had been stealing my big blind all day,so when we were heads up i thought it was pay back time.I cant really remember much of the heads up ,it all happened so quickly but i think it involved me pushing in almost every hand.
Thanks to Des and Tikay for doing all the hard work, and to all the other finalist's for making it a tremendous day.

Mickey's heads-up play was awesome - pure ultra-aggression - a joy to behold!
