Live and Exclusive from the G Casino, Coventry.

APAT's season 5 kicks off it's live schedule with the 888poker APAT English Amateur Championship.

APAT, Poker and a football ground.  Tighty is just going to be too excited.

Join us from 2.30pm on Saturday 26th March, when battle will commence between 150 intrepid poker players, all aiming to be crowned 888poker APAT English Amateur Poker Champion.

apat.tv will be streaming live video and commentary from feature tables, and the updating team will be at your disposal, to provide you with chipcounts, pictures, hand analysis, and general frivolity across the two days.

We're back, rebranded, with subtitles. Last time we were in Coventry, it was a cracker of a weekend.  I think this might just top it.

Follow the team on

If you're tweeting from the tables, just add #apatpoker

Wow.

Early, early, early.

Premature one might say.

Welcome to Season Five. New Sponsors. New added value. No buffet queues.

and a live update thread six days before the Championship.

The English Championship has come around a bit earlier this time.

Is Tod Wood the shortest-reigning champion in APAT history?

Very presumptuous John, he might win it again.

Sorry if it is posted elsewhere and I have missed it, but what is happening on Sunday 27th ? I read somewhere about a side event ? is it reg on the day ?

Just looked on the G Casino site, they have a 15K deep-and-steep game for £15 at 4pm or thereabouts, is there an APAT game as well ? Might come along to this for some Live practice, and rail the latter stages of the APAT main comp.

Please see the player briefing

there is a £25 PLO APAT side event, 50 runners max, from 3-3.30pm

Reg opens Saturday 4pm

I am not sure the regular G tournament will be taking place, unlikely I'd say
