Well done on winning this seat Paul, and I'm sure that as the only runner, you will have a decent chance.

Meanwhile the rest of us will play Saturday's online championship. Perhaps you might also join us at that one? Guess you'll have to buy in though.

Can the winner choose which UKIPT to play or is it assigned ? And can the winner sell his seat if he can't make the event ?

You choose the UKIPT to play.  You can't sell the seat.  Use it or lose it.

Some observations 2 hours in...

NLHE going ok, not overly eventful for me
I am so bad at PLO it's actually a bit embarrassing
It is very difficult to make 2 x Moscow Mules during the 5 minute break

sick NLH tourney - limp (200) x 2... I raise 1200 with AKs, utg limper shoves 9k with AJo - I call, AJ >>> AK of course.

Back up to 10k, see a A84 flop with 44 and get all in and lose v 88

Taking the Lasse Viren approach to this. Was 4/99 when I left, went for a nice meal, but I'm back now 47/51 with 10BB and something similar in the Omaha - so let's see what happens.
