If Carlsberg did live updates, I'd be a lager

« on: April 20, 2011, 10:30:13 am »

Starting at 6pm Thursday, and continuing until the bar is drunk dry or Des Duffy cries "STOP" we have the 888poker UK & Ireland Home International Team Championship

8 teams. Four Countries. No poker of any note, but we'll record the action anyway on here from tomorrow

As an added bonus, I am going to tomorrow afternooon's "football" with my camera. Snigger. I may post some photos on here to get the live update off to a good start. A start anyway

Follow the team on

@APAT_poker        @tighty                   @chipaccrual         @jbpokerupdate

If you're tweeting from the tables, just add #apatpoker

Good luck especially to Des Bartab. An APAT newbie, playing his first event. He'll be nervous. Good luck Des

I'm very impressed with all the spreadsheets, has someone from APAT been sponsoring training days for the members or has one or two got too much time on their hands...........lol

Updates from Newcastle will be brought to you by poker's answer to Ant & Dec.......

Richard & Leigh (aka Tighty & Chipaccrual)

Ant & Dec (aka PJ & Duncan)

If you ever get confused, Tighty will always be the one on the left as you look at them.   Wink

I think APAT should seriously consider taking the english teams out of the comp, following some recent information that came to hand.

Wales A and Wales B.

I've always wanted to see Des play poker because.....

When Ger needed a brave volunteer,
Des put up his hand without fear,
The chips may well fly,
But he is the guy,
To smile whilst buying the beer!

That last line might need a bit of work...  Wink
