The Icon Hotel in Luton is very nice as well - http://www.iconhotelluton.com/ but it's more expensive than those other options unless you find a good deal

I think you can get a room for about £70 a night (Fri/Sat) but it'll only have a shower in the bathroom but if that's not an issue for you, as Jon says, it's a nice option and only a couple of yards from the Days Hotel.
