If Carlsberg did live updates, I'd be a lager

Personally I read it as Individual points should be allowed, which is what I have said elsewhere, but only top 4 for team standings

Depends if James and Ian can go back through the previous 9 matchday results and work it through I suppose

wouldnt fancy doing all my own spreadsheets for glasgow stats , and individual again to be honest , so if it was to be re-thought then i would just delete , not sure we can now go back and change a rule thats has been in place since day 1 .

maybe better keeping it in mind for next years league , as i dont see if affecting this years results as bottom scorers in a team would be beaten by top scorers in team anyway and would not  make a difference to top scoring player in a team ,that may win the added value.if that makes sense

Does that mean we are also deducting points for those that were awarded them when someone scored 0 and also adjusting those that would have had a different number of points?

OFFICIAL UPDATE;

In order to be fair to all players and to clarify the rules the following applies to points scoring;

Top 18 Points scorers individual points will be protected, team points allocation rule will remain as is.

Therefore it is possible to score points for the team but not for yourself (ie. finish 20th but 6 players in one team score points, you will score 3 points for the team but NOT for yourself).

This is being clarified because there is a prize for individual effort. This will ensure that it is fair for all and complies with the Top 18 scoring rule.

This clarification will be applied retrospectively and individual points will be updated for Div 1 and 2. Team points will not be affected by this.

We appreciate that work has gone into calculating these points by APAT forum members (particularly Gerry and Ian) and this was taken into consideration, however we felt this was clarification was required to prevent potential issues at the end of season and the work required to recalculate will not be too much effort.

If you have any queries, I know none of you will hesitate to let me know Smiley
