This weekend on 888poker.com the APAT North American Online Championships.
8pm Sat 5th Nov $50+5 NLHE
9pm $20+2 PLO.
Added value to the winners: 888poker SuperStack Seat to their event at Star City Birmingham on February 25 & 26th, and an APAT National Seat for the PLO.
The event is available via the Tournament / League tab on the 888poker client.

Should be interesting tonight. I'm going to hide away upstairs to play, but we have a houseful - and I've been on the pop since lunchtime. Lighting the fireworks after several pints was a challenge - bloody things wouldn't sit still!!

Hum. Well that wasn't a lot of fun.
Raised with QJ suited and caught a QQJ flop... and then lost to a straight flush on the river. I can't remember ever going out of a tournament at the 15/30 level before.
Always got to be a first time I suppose.
Sigh.

I got Swindelled this evening. Knocked me out of the PLO and ME  PLO was just meh as we had the same hand but redrew the flush on the river. NLH I thought I might be able to induce a fold, but it wasn't to be and lost my race with 22 against A10. |

What a rub from the dealer - recovered from 2xBB to 15x, then shove over a limper with 88 - called by TT...... flop K8T Happy with 6th after 2nd in last round. Can't see past Louis winning this one - playing well, running well, and probably doing everything else quite well too! |

was running like a dream for ages in both PLO and NLHE and was CL in both 20 out.
bubbled final of PLO after flopping the nuts v Gary's OESFD.
Got completely owned by Louis in the NLHE and ran out of run good in crucial spots to finish 5th. Happy with my 5th place to go near the top of the rankings again.
If Louis doesn't win this, he'll surely have to rethink his "limp fold to 4x shove" strategy, otherwise I'm a convert!!
