Paul Pitchford Wins WCOAP Omaha Championship

England’s Paul Pitchford has won the Omaha title at the APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker, in the early hours of Friday morning. Defeating a sold out field, Paul took the Championship Gold medal and first prize of £1,300, beating Andrew Drago heads up.

APAT World Championship Betting Markets Open

The betting market for the APAT World Amateur Poker Championship main event is now open at Blue Square.
The current individual Championship favourites at 66/1 are Simon Auckland, Darren Shallis, James Eccles, Neil Blatchly and John Miller. Bets can be had on the individual winner or on players reaching the final table.
The event will be played at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham between August 28th & 30th, with over 300 players taking part.
Live updates will be available via the APAT forum throughout the festival, which opens with the WCOAP Omaha Championship on August 27th and concludes with the WCOAP HORSE Championship on August 30th.
