The latest leg of APAT’s fourth season online featured seventy nine players in another high quality field of APAT players entered into the APAT Scottish Online Poker Championship. The $50 buy in ensured they all had a chance at winning the $2,500 first prize, Championship title, Gold Medal and an entry to a £1,000 buy in Grosvenor UK Poker Tour event.
As with all APAT Online Championship events, players started with a 10,000 chip deep-stack and 15 minute blinds.
As the bubble burst, the final table was full of some very familiar APAT names. UK Online winner Warren ‘Tyl3rDurden’ Jones was still in the mix alongside UK PLO and season 3 European Amateur Champion, Stuart ‘fatcatstu’ Ward. Andy ‘each it’ Heath was making back to back final table appearances and he was joined by Jack ‘sambarnbrac’ Prime, who is no stranger to an APAT final table, both online and live.

The fourth online event of Season Three provided the most experienced trio of medal winners in APAT Championship history. Ninety two players entered the APAT Scottish Online Poker Championship. The $55 buy in gave them all a shot at a $1,380 first prize, national title, gold medal and an entry to a £1,000 buy in Grosvenor UK Poker Tour main event.
This tournament saw a number of highly ranked players absent due to tournament commitments elsewhere in the UK, providing a great opportunity for the entrants to win an APAT major and push their way up the National Rankings. As normal in Championship events players started with a 10,000 chip deepstack and 15 minute blinds. Within fifteen minutes of the start we had already lost one player and after four hours of further play, Antony Wolsey (‘Pilf’), who final tabled the Irish Online Championship, burst the final table bubble and exited in eleventh.
