Just caught up and read the Comedy reviews with great interest.

If you enjoyed Machynlleth you"d love Edinburgh.

Mrs 3103 and I have been to Edinburgh for the first few days of the Fringe every year for the last eight. Stewart Lee is one of our "must see" acts and we"re hoping to see Simon Munnery this year having seen some of his work on the Stewart Lee curated stand up show from The Stand Comdey Club in Edinburgh. It"s The Alternative Comedy Experience and features Munnery, Law, Christie amongst others. On Comedy Central and probably on Youtube too by now.

The Fringe is on my bucket list... any tips on where to source accommodation etc.

I watched that show and really enjoyed it. What I didn"t include in my post was that Lee & Christie were in the yurt next to us and we had a good chat with them both on several occasions... My father & sister are both massive fans of his and are now extremely jealous.

It"s a real shame that the game was effectively decided by Hartley"s indiscipline. I think we"d have still won against 15, but it would definitely have been a lot tighter.

As you say, Wayne Barnes though a well-respected ref has few fans and he"s never been seen as a friend to Leicester. However it was a hell of a call to make but I"m glad he did as it"s respect for the referee that separates rugby from football. I"d like to think I"d be saying the same if it had been a Tiger that had been sent off for dissent.

Here"s to next season. Let"s hope the East Midlands continue to occupy the top slots.
