KKs on wet board/multiway flop.

WYoung83:
Last Sunday in the G Casino Walsall - £50+£6

10k starting / 30 min clock

Level 4, blinds 100/200 no antes yet. Average is 13k.

Really fishy table (but the nice weak/passive kind with lots of limping and calling oop etc). I have only shown down 2 hands which i won big pots by getting 3 streets when i flopped big in multiway pots. (not that these Mongos will have noticed that ive only played 2 hands with the nuts)

UTG limps, Mp limps and i find  Ks Kc in the H/J. I raise it to 1k playing 27k and have whole table covered. Fish in the SB cold calls playing 6k, Fish in the BB calls playing 17k, and the limpers both call playing 10kish. So its 5 handed to the flop and 5k out there.

Flop is a dangerous looking 5d 6d 2s and everyone checks to me.

All i wanna know, is this a auto C-bet or can i somtimes check back for pot controll and deception.
I rate to have the best hand right now (doesnt always mean bet though),  there are tons of combos with equity vs me. Getting check raised would be tough because the pot would be huge and im never gonna be in great shape vs either a made hand or combo draw, if i do peel a check raise, then opponent is obv putting all his money  in on any turn.
If i C-bet then how much considering Stack sizes and flop Texture.

The way you describe the others I wouldn"t want to check as you are giving a free card for all those draws to get there.

I would bet and probably more than normal for value. If they are calling to hit they are usually calling a bigger bet too. I would be happy to take it down there and then too if they do manage to find a fold.

^this..... and if played back at, I"m always happy to get all in before the turn (against the table that you describe)

PantsMan:
Thirded. Against the type of players described i"m betting out big here, probably getting shoved on by any flush draws or taking it down here and now to win a big pot. Definitely not checking! If they all check behind what are you hoping to see on the turn if you check (aside from a king?).

WYoung83:
I was simply asking a bit of a long winded question, but obviously i had to plug in all the details to get accurate answers. "can you ever check behind overpairs on a dangerous board in a multiway pot"?

Think pretty much everyones gonna say that i should bet this, so no point waiting for a few more answers because i know what people will say. I was just asking a question too see if i can ever check back for pot controll, which has the added bonus of under repping and deception.

Obviously if we get to the turn i want to see the board pair, or a brick at least,

For some reason it looks like the BB is quite agitated, dont know why but call it instinct if you like,  i get the feeling he likes the flop. However the retard in me says " mmmuuuu me have overpair, me must bet" (insert caveman accent)  so i bet 2.5k into 5k pot, and the SB ships it for 5K, and the BB shoves also for around 16k. The two limpers fold and its back on me.

FWIW i would of been much happier betting flop and getting check shipped on if i had AK (snap fold) or NFD (snap call)

Ive plugged in value and combo ranges vs these two (rough estimate though) and i have surprisingly around 51% equity, in the field i though it would of been a bit less.
