Rugby League 2012 (Betting Thread)

Me and a mate (yes I do have one) did this last year but did not keep any records so this is a way of me keeping a record. This is not a tipping thread, in fact if you did the opposite to what I do then you won"t go for wrong.

The idea is that you bet on the handicap which is normally 10/11. To begin with it will be just singles and doubles . They are 7 games a week, I will be backing in 2 or 3 off them but will keep a record of all games.

Last year I can recall on 3 weekends that the handicapper got it wrong, and all 7 games went the way of the team with minus points so you could just back blind but they will be some kind of thinking behind the selections I make. Not by me as I know nothing about Rugby League but from my mate who follows it.

I will be backing the team with minus points about 90% of the time but will also go with the underdog sometimes if we see value.

You will get different spread of points with different bookies but for the purpose of this I will be using William Hill

Will be starting with 100pts. No set rules, like only back % of the bankroll. Going to go with my gut (this is where I normally go wrong)
