Well for me the month of grinding is over ( I know it"s tomorrow but I doubt I"ll be playing)

First of all results:

Games played: 370
Starting bankroll: $152.96
Finishing bankroll: $124.85
Loss $28.11
No of 1st place finishes: 55  (14.8% of tournaments played, 44.3% of cashes)
No of 2nd place finishes: 29 (7.8% of tournaments played, 23.4% of cashes)
No of 3rd place finishes: 40 (10.8% of tournaments played, 32.3% of cashes)
No of cashes: 124 (33.5%)

Analysis

If I get to the cash, I seem to do ok. If I get heads up, I win a significant amount of them @ 65%. However, if I"m right, I"d need to cash in approx 38-40% of these tournaments to make a profit. I"ll assume someone on here will have the right figures. I also would like to know how many bubbles I had ( it felt a hell of a lot), but as I don"t suscribe to any particular tracking software I"ll have to not know.

Do I feel I"ve run -ve? Definitely. 370 sng"s is a very small sample I know! For example, since the 20th, I"ve had 23 set"s of 8, having 15 losing sessions and 8 winning. The majority of the winning sessions were tiny, and a lot of the losing sessions in comparison were large!

Can I play sng"s? I believe so. As opposed to the previous post, I am going to continue playing on stars for them, purely due to traffic, will make a small deposit after the weekend and move up to the $3.50s. I"ve attempted to play them on William Hill, but they take way too long to fill up. I"ll get my mtt practise in on Will Hill I think.

I will give myself some targets in March, especially as I have some time off.

1) Play 500 in a month. Definitely achieveable, but way more than any other month.
2) Make a profit.
3) Decide to 6 or 8 table. I can tile 6 tables on my laptop, I have to stack or cascade 8 tables.
4) Attempt to play with much less distraction, ie no TV on/xbox on etc to see if it makes a difference.

Thoughts?

If you"re going to play volume it"s probs worthwhile you d/l table ninja. Get a free trial too. Then you will be able to stack very easily, can always pull ITM games into another pile to keep your focus on the business end.

The $5 and upwards games on willhill(ipoker) that are 10% rake are probs softer than the ones you currently play and you can get some decent RB on them sites

I"ll give you one very, very important tip on using PT3.

Don"t.

Use HEM instead.
