It"s pretty easy to get around..and certainly a little easier than before.

There is some fantastic content in the "Blogs" category which sits very low down in the Forum structure.  I"m considering moving that category, or the blogs themselves and putting them within "General Discussion".

I think the Blogs section is fine where it is...it"s certainly a big part of the "Community" element that differentiates APAT from other tours/groups/organisations.

Frankly, and I don"t know if I"m in a minority here, I"m here so often that I just look for "unread posts" using the link at the top and read the ones that grab my attention. I don"t have to root around in the annals to find stuff that way.

Then I just use the button at the bottom to mark everything else as "read".

I think most people who regularly use a forum start off with just looking at "unread posts" - but I don"t think that"s particularly relevant. If it"s easy or hard to navigate - the regular users are going to get used to it and won"t have a problem anyway.

I think it"s pretty easy to navigate around now for newcomers - but to confirm this it really needs somebody who isn"t used to the site coming and looking for something in particular (e.g. league information or how to enter one of the National tournaments). But I do agree that the blogs would probably be better served as being a sub group of this general group.

I don"t know if there are any analytics to back it up, but I would imagine that a lot of casual browsers would just look at the "general" board to see if anything catches their eye and won"t bother looking down to the other boards. It"s no good the Blogs just being easy to get to - it should just be there in front of them as I think it is something that could get the casual user to come back to the forum, and hopefully get more involved.
