I thought the rebuy ammount was normally the same as the starting stack with addons at the end tending to be bigger

Not played the satellites but some confusing stuff in the thread. What"s point of having a rebuy sat if everyone starts deep?

Ongame - 1500 starting stack, 2000 rebuy, 2500 add on.
Some iPoker network rebuy games - 1500 starting stack, 2000 rebuy and addon
Poker Encore live sats - 1500 starting stack, 3000 rebuy, 10000 add on

Those spring readily to mind.
