Open & Shutt

(1/3) > >>

tikay:
The Sky Poker Live "Open" at The Broadway, Birmingham, on Saturday, was won by none other than APAT stalwart Kevin Shutt.

Despite starting the Final with a huge chip defecit to the Chip Daddy, he rode his luck, then imposed his impressive game on a tough Final Table, bullying & stealing & generally getting busy when it mattered.

Big up to Kevin, who was among many APAT-ers in the Event, all of whom brought great credit to us in APAT, by their fine game, table demeanour, & good manners.

Bainn also ran well, eventually finishing 16th of 104.

After Jon Woodfield"s eye-opening & stunning result in Vegas, APAT's name is being increasingly seen as representing everything that is good about our game.

Very, very, well done Kevin, I was immensely proud of you.

The Event was covered by Poker Week, so you will be able to see Kevin interviewed when it airs, towards the end of this week. Sky Poker also did filmed interviews with scores of players, & you will see these on Sky Poker over the coming weeks & months.

APAT:
Many congratulations Kevin, your result does not surprise me in the least.  Enjoy your well deserved moment of fame and I look forward to featuring your Sky interview on APAT.com shortly.   Also, well done to Bainn on another good run, and to all APAT members for representing us well in Birmingham.

Regards,

Des.

Well done Zukertort!

Jon MW:
Well done Zukertort! x 2

A great result, but after seeing Kevin play a bit, not an altogether surprising one.

Zukertort:
Thanks to everyone at APAT for your friendship, support and sincere congratulations! When the pressure was on yesterday i had to dig deep & i believe my past "APAT EXPERIENCES" helped me immensely. It was a memorable day and i along with my APAT friends hope to repeat it!

Once again-thankyou.
