Tartan Army World Tour Bus (to ECOAP Nottingham)

<< < (3/4) > >>

Sef:
ok guys initial interest in this idea would say it"s a no-go. We would need to fill a 32 seater to make remotely cost effective and given the interest we would get nowhere near that and would be cheaper using alternatives. For that reason I won"t be booking a bus just now.

Looking forward to seeing you all down there ;)

I"m obviously going down for the whole event now mate, happy to drive and take 3 passengers from Glasgow. My last jaunt down there would suggest about £40 fuel each way per car so another way to keep costs down for people.

Hotel:
Last time I stayed at The Hylands, who have a seperate building at the back where we could maybe a get a few rooms to stick together. I"d be happy to give them a bell to get a price if a few folk wanted to stay together. It"s only about 10 mins drive from DTD as well so quite handy.

Sef:
I aint going down til the Friday now mate so will see you there. Yeah I stayed at the Hylands in Beeston too the last time I was down for BBP live. Decent rooms n good breakfast. They have a laugh when you walk in hungover to hell n looking like ****. lol. £10 for a taxi to the casino from there and a fiver back. cause of the one way thing it"s dearer to get there but if theres a few in the taxi then it"s a cpl of quid each. ;) Great wee pub just a hop skip n jump from that hotel aswell. think it was called queens hotel or something. Looks like a dodgy wee place but we were welcomed n had a great time in it winning cash from the locals on the pool table. lol. Might even pay it a visit again when we are down.

I"m staying at the Ramada in the city centre this time though just at the back of the square where all the pubs are. Good price so worth seeing if theres any rooms left there. Defo checking if there is anything on in nottingham that weekend aswell cause last time I was there it was student carnage uk on the last night and you had to have the SCUK t-shirt on to get in most of the pubs. that was a killer i"ll tell ye. lol.

The bus wont be running now mate unless theres a major surge of interest at some point but cant see it. Defo get yourself down though cause it"s gonna be a great weekend. Also look out for the Glasgow Leg of APAT. ;) Cant mind exact dates but it"s all on the forum mate ;)
