Managed to buy-in online through DTD with no problems.  Many thanks

I understand the issues with the vagueries (is that even a word?) of the exchange rate, but...

I really feel that the direct buy-in cost should be at least as much as that paid by those who have committed their funds for the last month or so.

We have an exchange rate from the bank for the funds from Euros into GBP.  We also have a commitment to DTD in the reg fees for both the main event and side events.

At the end of all that, with the £92 + £10 buyin, APAT are sticking in 37p per player.  Not an ideal scenario and it all adds up, but in future, we will try not to be so spot on with the Euro buyin figure and will give it a little more slack to account for rate movements.  That will ultimately mean slightly higher GBP buyins, but then there can be no complaints.

As I said, I realise there are ForEx issues and I realise that the juice needs to be a fixed amount.

But the direct buy-in amount is surely down to APAT to set and I assume that the £92 is a function of the exchange rate when the funds were withdrawn.

What would be good would be for a record to be kept of Webdollar"s daily exch rate from the when the seats go on sale until the holding tanks close. The direct buy-in amount could then be set to match the highest GBP amount that anyone who has pre-registered would have paid.
