Sweepstake Report Card
Group A
Poland - mporter123 - D - A teacher"s favourite without doubt, but needs to work a lot harder on his 2 times tables.
Greece - smasher37 - E - One of the least popular boys in the playground, who is more likely to turn up with a bloody nose than his correct uniform. Also, a little behind on school lunch payments, please enclose a cheque in the prepaid envelope provided.
Russia - mousebob - B+ - Has surpassed our expectations so far. Very neat and tidy handwriting, but please ensure his pen doesn"t blob too often.
Czech Republic - Phil_TC - D - Claims the "wrong" questions appeared on his first test. We"re prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt on this occasion, but another performance like this will see him in front of the head.
Group B
Holland - AceOnTheRiver - D - Don"t. let. it. happen. again.
Denmark - Swinebag22 - B - This little fella is punching above his weight at the moment, but he may find other subjects a bit more challenging going forward. Like German.
Germany - noble1 - B - Scored the predictable B once again but really needs to work harder to achieve his full potential.
Portugal - pables - D - While "scripty" writing can be very pleasing to the eye, sometimes it is difficult to understand! Can we suggest the use of a stencil for his next test?
Group C
Spain - AJDUK - C - A somewhat lazy performance from one of our star pupils but hopefully the resulting kick up the backside will spur him on to greater things.
Italy - Waz1892 - B - Made the most of some strong revision and could be a candidate for possible honours. Keep up the good work!
Republic of Ireland - Joker161 - D - Toiled but might want to take some more minerals on board for their next visit to the examination centre. That, and please write 30 times: "arse is spelt a..r..s..e.."
Croatia - duke3016 - C+ - Worked hard and achieved a well deserved reward. Should perhaps be setting our sights higher for this boy, although he might find Gianluca and Juan harder to make friends with.
Group D
France - Marty719 - C - Tried to steal our ball. Naughty.
England - AMRN - D - Showed some endeavour but perhaps lacks a little self belief. Popular in the school yard and one we"d all like to see progress a little more. Must be less generous with his sweets also.
Ukraine - deanp27 - B - We must be suspicious that he had early access to the test paper as his script seemed a little too well prepared.
Sweden - ian.ski309 - E - Such long beautiful golden locks, yet so little underneath. Please leave the ABBA pencil case at home as the other pupils are mocking the 4 at the back.

Oh, who stole Wayne Parker"s password?! :)
FWIW, I thought Croatia looked as strong as France with the ball and I also thought England didn"t get near enough passes in, given the talent in that team. By comparison Ireland"s midfield alone is worth several million pounds less, but I didn"t feel England performed several million pounds better.
