may seem like a standard cooler, but at this point vs a decant player can i ever just check/call river? Did i loose too much?

Swinebag:
Not a big fan of c/c here as too many hands that call river check back.

I think it should be b/f, but I"ll be honest and say I probably do exactly what you did Will.

Fatcatstu:
I would play the flop and turn precisely the same way, but i am probably c/f the river as it just feels wrong.

Been in situations like this online a few times,m and you are usually beaten a fair bit, again i will bow to the stats guru"s as i dont have the first clue what they are on about :D

noble1:
dont mind your line, but if u chose to check call the turn surely u are hoping to get him to bluff or turn into a bluff 99 TT JJ or hope he bets KQ KJ on this texture, hard to put him on K8 K3 K7 but small maybe, u hold the ace heart blocking a possible FD so u can discount him having A3hh A8hh, so when u bet the river ace and he min re-raises i"d thought u have to ask yourself ""wtf is he repping here that hopes i fold?"" and then find a reluctant shoulder shrugging fold :)... i suppose check call would be best here after the turn check and the ace binks on the river..

deanp27:
Prefer b/f the turn than c/c.

River is tough now and it depends if he likely to take off with weaker aces up, but it is probably a standard b/f with the line you have taken.

Also don"t post results if you want better insight imo
