Coming Soon - National Online Cup
Foggy:
I think that 4 per team is a bit shallow as not everyone can play every match, plus with the holiday season approaching, a team could loose 50 per cent of their team in any one week. Perhaps 6 per team with 4 to count?

Just to clarify how this will work guys.
You can enter as many teams of 4 from the regions of the National League.
Just get together with some of your team mates, think up a relevant team name, and there you go, you can enter the National Online Cup.
If you want to use this as an opportunity to introduce new players to the APAT National League, then get them to sign up to the region and then they can play as part of a team in the cup competition.
The only condition is that all players in the teams of 4 must play for the same region in the National League and come up with a suitably relevant team name to their region.
We are currently finalising the structure, but would be interested in players views on one thing.
With a cup competition, half the teams go out each round until one is left and declared the winner.
There are two ways to "knock-out" teams each round, either :-
A ) The top 50% of teams go through, rinse and repeat.
or
B ) Each team is drawn with another team, and the higher placed team of those two goes through, rinse and repeat.
Thoughts ?

Option A just ahead of option B for me.
cundallini:
Option A.
That way you are playing everyone and not just 4 people.
Or am I being dumb and it"s basically the same?

I like option A but I also like option B but which one is best :-\
