The European Amateur Team Championship will be played as part of the ECOAP festival at Dusk Till Dawn on August 24th & 25th.  Competing countries are as follows:-

England
France
Germany
Italy
Malta
Northern Ireland
Poland (defending European Champions)
Portugal
Republic of Ireland (European Champions 2008)
Scotland
Spain
Wales (World Champions 2010 & 2011, Home International Champions 2011)
--- End quote ---

The STTs were originally 6 x 8 = 48 players = 12 teams

Now the STTs are 4 x 9 = 36 players = 9 teams

Are there three teams still unconfirmed ? Just wondering...

France, Spain and Malta are missing.

I"m not sure if this is the right place, but I would just like to thank the APAT guys for a brilliantly run Team Event.  I have played a few weekend festivals before, but having teammates to cheer on, and the banter between teams, adds a lot of fun.  I know there must have been a mountain of work to get it running so smoothly.

Hope to see you all at some future APAT events.

Alan (NI team)
