I missed it by a few minutes, thinking there was late reg.

There is late reg. if more than 6 players start the tournament. If there"s less than 6 then there"s no late reg.

Ah, that"s where I went wrong.  Kind of silly though, no?  With only 3 runners, I"d have thought you"d want more runners to cover the prize.

Anyway, nvm...will hopefully remember the rule in future.

There definitely has to be a cut-off point imo. e.g. It would be pretty unfair for someone to late reg. when there are 2 players left, and one is about to go bust.

Scousebill:
I agree with the late reg thing... Maisy managed to reg with only about 40 seconds left then sat out right until her last two hands. The winner handled the sit-out player better than I did but it didn"t help that my tea was ready about 10 minutes after it started. Then the best hand I had all game KK was called by Ace rag and the A fell on the flop... Out...  There is good value on this site while not many people are on the site.. Not sure what will happen though if somebody wins the main Bad Beat prize...

All hands played on BadBeat tables have a small extra-rake added to them that funds those prizes. We (APAT) don"t have to pay anything extra towards it if one of our players "hits". The network (Boss Media) pay the prize out from all the collections (the current figures being exactly how much has been collected to date).
