ForthThistle:
yep 180"s Downswing is horrific.

Currently on a 350 game Downswing and never want to play online poker again.

Keep it going in the heater.

KarmaDope:
45/90 are full of grinders. Fish play the 180s. I would stick to these personally. Keep posting hands on here and on blonde. If you have time, go to blonde and read mondatoo"s diary...

Chipaccrual:
Don"t understand why anyone would think there is much difference between 180"s, 90"s or 45"s.

Same % of the field is paid, they are all MTT"s, if anything, it is probably easier to sail to a min cash in a 180 than the others, but not much easier.

Stick with it Mark, you are only a small number of tourneys into this, and have already proved you have the ability to cash. It"s all about grinding for a sensible ROI.

s4ooter:
180s are deffo softer as the 90s/45s/27s are just reg filled....

Keep at it sir :)

mporter123:
$954.74.

Felt like we ran horrible again but managed a 4th for the day saver late in the session.

I am happy playing the 180"s in the week. They fit nicely into my evening in that the maximum one will run for is just over 2 hours. It makes structuring sessions much easier. Obviously in an ideal world I would play the lower variance, non turbo, deeper stacked sit n go"s/mtts all the time but its not what I am looking for in relatively short sessions. Will keep working on the 180"s.

A quick stand out stat, in 2012 I had 7 scores of $150 or more. Those scores were all final tables in fields ranging from 400-1000 at buyins from $2 - $11.

In 2013, I have had ZERO scores above $150. That surprised me seeing that actually, barely won a bean this year!! That shows as I have only cashed for just short of $2.5K in 2013 compared to just short of $5K last year. Just need to run good when it matters as I think my game is streets ahead of where it was last year.
