I am going to have an online poker hiatus for the remainder of this month.

I have put in some work in the last few days going through hand histories, watching a few videos and reading some strategy articles. There are definitely some leaks in my game that need plugging and I think a sustained off period is the best way to commit myself to some "away from the table" work.

I am going to spend the next three weeks going through everything - a complete from the ground up type approach to my MTT game. I have some Deuces Cracked videos to work through, will probably post some strat articles here and talk to people I know I can bounce ideas around with.

I think this will be really good for my long term poker game and give us more chance to chase those $$$$$$$$.

Completely broke down and rebuilt my HUD, I am very happy with it now. I have done a decent chunk of work on a good HUD set up combined with tagging players and note taking.

Fired up a tournament just to check the HUD looked fine in game and so I could make a few tweaks. Lols at this, nice to know not much has changed since I have been away.

Saying that, I have done more work on my game in the last 10 days or so than I have in the last year.

Lots more to do of course, a mixture of videos, going through hand histories, and some theory work. I don"t think I have been doing anything horribly wrong but I will be honest - I am finding a lot of small mistakes here and there. Slightly wrong bet sizings, not adjusting ranges well pre flop, not defending enough big blinds, more work needed on sub 30bb strategy, 3bet ranges and sizings etc.

Lots more to do, won"t be playing online until at least after Stoke. Looking at investing in a desk and monitor set up too - every little helps.
