PHIL_TC:
Apologies to anyone receiving any malware warnings trying to access the site over the weekend.
Both the main site (apat.com) and this forum were targets of a heavy hacking attack. Has took a while and most of the weekend to sort and thoroughly clean. Not sure if you can imagine how many lines of code there are to run both sites but to go through page after page and line after line to look for anything that looks suspicious and remove takes a loooooooong time. Bank holiday weekend as well. Sigh.
It can also take a further 12 hours for Google to double check all is well and give the all clear.
All clean now so you can use the site and forum without any worries. Enjoy x

Depends on the browser you were using John. Users using Chrome and Firefox experienced warnings. Other browsers (presuming you were using a different browser or tablet) didn"t receive any warnings and were fine.

Don"t care about the warnings Phil. Are you saying that it was no more than that? Were we exposed to risk on the site?

The malware was inserted adverts into the main site and forum John. Nothing that could infect your device. I accessed the site over the weekend ignoring Chrome warnings and just experienced embedded advertising, nothing was picked up on my malware or antivirus software. If your browser automatically stripped them out all good for you.
If you want to be 100% sure then run your anti virus software or anti malware scans.
I use Windows so use the following free scanning software :
For anti virus : http://www.avast.com/en-gb/index
For anti malware : https://www.malwarebytes.org/
