Feedback on National Online Cup structure.
Matt D:
If you"ve any feedback about the structure of tonight"s National Online Cup games, please post here.
Did 2,500 starting stack and 12 min blinds provide enough play? Or would you like to see bigger starting stacks (perhaps 3000)? / longer blind levels (15 mins instead of 12)?
AMRN:
I liked it, but I guess I"m biased.
As to the structure - it depends what one expects from this sort of comp. Personally, I think it"s about playing a team game first and foremost, and for that we don"t need a massive deepstacked slow clock structure. For this format of competition, I think the structure is ok - it"s a shovefest for a period, but that just has to be adjusted to..... I"m sure the Nationals will have a proper and more appropriate structure. All that said, I would vote for 3k stacks over 2.5k, if only to delay the shovefest period a little longer.
Probably the wrong thread to post this in, but this must be one of the only networks that doesn"t offer an option for four colour deck, or an option to see immediate hand history. Not massive issues, but frustrating nonetheless.
Jeffers:
Personally I wouldn"t mind seeing more starting chips, as it did feel a little cramped just over an hour in, but if we were to do that I"d also vote for an earlier starting time, as we don"t want to run on too late with all games being played with work the next morning.

Thanks for the feedback. I"m inclined to agree with you re: structure, levels. Though a couple have suggested 5k start stacks (this could mean a 1am finish though, which is a little unsociable for those with work in the morning).
To answer your other points:
For 4 colour deck: Select "settings" from the main lobby.
For instant hand history: Select the "replay" icon at the top left of the screen. That will pop-up a Pokerstars-style Instant Replay screen, complete with option to see cards your opponent mucked at showdown.
PHIL_TC:
We"re all done by 10:40 in group C, so a little more play would be good, but not too much of a tweak.
Personally enjoyed it.
If you can block "Erimus14" from playing in the future that would be great ;)
