Like any other middle aged pervert, I loved the new uniform style...... BUT I detested it in that environment. If Rob is trying to bring punters in, we have to question the type of punter he wants.... and he certainly isn"t doing anything toward growing the female player base.
I thought DTD was serious about poker - looks like we"ll be getting a lap dance on the final table rather than a free drink.

About 3 years ago, when The Phoenix was Duff"s, they once had a pole-dancing night. It took place in another room but the punters were few, so the management came up with the idea of having the cash tables taken into the other room.
That was one surreal night, check-folding while girls were pole-dancing a couple of feet away in bikini bottoms only. Apart from the pole thing, they also came round the table trying to inveigle guys for private dances and I can remember one or two of them lay on the poker table at some point. It wasn"t really a success as most of the players were more interested in the poker, so I felt a bit sorry for the dancers. Not something I"m likely to forget though.
