Vegas Vengeance II - APAT in Vegas 2013

As previously stated by the Guru: "The general idea is to get as many APAT players as possible in Vegas at the same time for a group adventure.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting something regimented or even half-organised.just that we'll aim to be out there around same time. People have differing levels of comfort requirements &/or budgets and availability so making this overly complicated would be like trying to herd cats."
So, who"s up for NOVEMBER 2013?
If we need an excuse, and we really don't, then Julie and I want to go back out there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it wouldn"t be right on our own!
I"ve noticed that if we start planning now, it gives us a whole year to save up for it, it gives us plenty of time to find flight and hotel deals to ease the expense, and it gives us more time to persuade those who missed out last time to come along this time!
(My new favourite word appears to be "time")
We may also organise and run JAPAT II as that was brilliant fun last time!
What say you APATers? In, or out?

Oh, my hotels?
All related to comps. I"m waiting for confirmation of a 2 night burner comp at the Orleans and I have myVegas comps to use to try and save cash when its really expensive the first few days.
I"ve booked Flamingo but looking at the prices with the group rate you got and no resort fee, I might just sack that off and move into Harrahs with you degens.

As we are just 13 weeks (91 days) away from what is fast becoming an epic crew (now 19 strong), we can prolly start to get excited officially. ;D
With this in mind, I thought I"d start a thread where travellers can post things, other than playing poker, that they might like to do when we are there. I for one intend to make this a holiday rather than just a pokerfest, as you can go a bit stir crazy just moving from tourney to tourney, casino to casino chasing the big win. I certainly intend to play my share, but also want to see what else there is on offer.
It has already been posted on this thread somewhere that we are intending to descend on McMullans Irish bar on the Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon to sing along with the resident entertainer John Windsor who we enjoyed last time, or at least I think we did.

We are also planning a Bloody Mary Tour to see which casino/bar/restaurant has the best one. (at least 15 claim too!!)
Other things include helicopter rides to the Grand Canyon, driving into Death Valley, maybe a motorcycle ride to Red Rock Canyon, the world is our Lobster.
If there is something you wanna do then post it here and lets see who wants to do it as well.

Just for the record, for those who havent yet booked and are on the fence about coming, BA/Virgin generally tend to have a sale at the end of August for November flights if this is tempting enough...
