i agree that being unlucky on the turn/river etc is very annoying and can lead to tilting, ranting, kicking, breaking etc however what did happen last night and also when playing in some of the sattelites is getting sat out very quickly for no apparent reason or disconnected which i think there should be accountability for.
eg in the sattelite i was heads up 5-1 chip lead, got frozen out and my opponent happily got bonus chips;
yesterday in main event same thing happened: raised pre, got called; checked flop intending to check raise; opponent bets as intended; cant play: been sat out by software, lose hand.

Completely agree Dave.
It"s also good that you refer to it as BOSS, because these faults are a network issue and nothing to do with APAT.
I always remember Matt recounting tales of BOSS meetings and trying to raise these issues on behalf of the players. It was a constant battle with a brick wall.

IMO it is something to do with APAT in that the powers that be chose BOSS in the first place, a network that many players have disliked for a long time. Your second point appears to back this up.
I know that you will always find players that dislike certain sites, but BOSS seems to get more "dislikers" than most.
