Chatbox abuse in APAT game - APAT code of conduct?

(1/2) > >>

SolarCarrot:
Noticed this last week (week 1) all sorts of abuse and name calling in the chat box

Tonight my fiancee was directly affected being called all sorts of names and coded swearing at her, in all the APAT events I have played this was never a problem, APAT has standards

What has happened to APAT? I thought we were all mature adults who could take the loss of AA like adults! Clearly not in some cases

Dave

Swinebag:
you highlight a minority and ask "what is wrong with APAT?"

A bit of perspective please.

These instances are rare in what are pretty good games with great banter.

Obviously the cases you refer to are unacceptable. If you want something doing then I would make a note of the offender and pass his name onto Des/Leigh/Matt.

Des:
Any instances of chat abuse can be pm"d to Leigh, Matt or myself and we will review the logs following the event. Thankfully this is very rare but it is never acceptable. Responding in kind is not encouraged, keyboard warriors love provoking a response.

Tonight"s incident will be reviewed tomorrow and sanctions taken if appropriate.

i rarely type or get involved in chat in the chatbox that way you cant be offended or offend anyone.

slowrolling is also an issue lol as i just found out from an actual team member, but i refrain from chat abuse lol

With slowrolling you have to accept there"s a good chance that the oppo could be playing multiple tables or have a temporary connection problem, no matter how much it hurts. No point getting upset about it online.
